wedress - General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

  1. Object

    wedress operates an online shop for customers and offers fashion items such as clothing, bags, shoes, jewelry and accessories, hereinafter referred to as products.
    The subject of these General Terms and Conditions is the regulation of ordering, payment, delivery, return, guarantee, liability, etc. when purchasing products in the web shop as well as the use of the web shop in general and the regulation of data protection.
    Each customer explicitly agrees to these Terms and Conditions upon registration and/or upon ordering.
    The use of personal data is regulated in the privacy policy. The privacy policy is an integral and binding part of these terms and conditions.
    By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the customer confirms that he has read, understood and accepted them and that his information is correct.

  2. Offer and conclusion of contract

    The offer on wedress is non-binding and subject to change.
    The overview of products provided in the web shop is merely an invitation to the customer to make an offer. The customer makes his/her selection - this is displayed in the web shop's shopping cart. By confirming the order, wedress submits its binding offer.
    The contract between the customer and wedress is concluded upon receipt of payment by wedress on the basis of the binding offer.
    The customer is obliged to provide all information required during the ordering process completely and correctly. 
    Deviations between the delivered products and the photo on the homepage are possible and are not a reason for return.
    The minimum age for ordering from wedress is 18 years. Minors may only order from us with the consent of their parents. By accepting our terms and conditions, the customer confirms that one of the two conditions is met.

  3. Prices and costs

    Our prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). The prices stated for the individual products in the web shop include the current Swiss VAT and, for orders over 99CHF, include the costs for standard shipping (B-Post). If the customer orders for an order value of less than 99CHF, the shipping costs of 6.95CHF will be passed on to the customer. If the customer requests a special shipping method, additional costs will arise which will be passed on directly to the customer. For orders with immediate payment such as Visa or Mastercard, the additional fee mentioned is charged per order in the online shop and charged to the customer. The additional fees are charged because the requested payment method incurs additional costs for us.

    The prices indicated for the individual products in the online catalog are exclusive prices including shipping costs. The following applies to deliveries abroad (delivery location other than Switzerland): Shipping costs, export and import duties, import sales tax or other charges levied in the recipient's country are to be borne entirely by the recipient. Price changes and errors reserved at any time.

    If the customer orders an order value of less than 100CHF, the shipping costs of 9.90CHF will be charged to the customer. Orders over 100CHF will be shipped free of charge. If the customer requests a special shipping method, additional costs will be incurred, which will be charged directly to the customer.

  4. Minimum order value

    There is no minimum order value at wedress.

    Payment for the products can be made by credit card, Paypal, TWINT or gift vouchers. If you pay by credit card, Paypal or TWINT, the amount will be charged at the time of the order.

  2. Delivery, costs, deadlines

    Orders and deliveries are only possible in the following countries: Switzerland, Principality of Liechtenstein, France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Ireland, Croatia, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Great Britain.

    Delivery costs for Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein are included in the price for orders over 99 CHF. If the order value is less than 99 CHF, the buyer will be charged 6.95 CHF shipping costs.

    Delivery costs for France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Ireland, Croatia, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and Great Britain are included in the price from 100CHF. If the order value is less than 100CHF, 9.90CHF shipping costs will be charged to the buyer.

    The delivery time for the selected item is displayed on the product page. The delivery period begins once the order and payment have been received.

    There are no partial deliveries, all products are sent to the buyer together in one package.

    No guarantee is given for compliance with specific delivery deadlines. The announcement of any delivery dates is always non-binding and subject to unilateral changes by wedress even after the contract has been concluded. Any claims for compensation due to late delivery are excluded in any case.
    From the time of dispatch (handover to CH-Post or Hermes) and until receipt by wedress of any returns, benefit and risk are transferred to the customer.

  3. material

    All of the gemstones in our fashion jewelry are fake and consist of artificial diamonds, for example. Leather is made of artificial or synthetic leather. Products made of gold or silver are colored. The durability and resilience is therefore shorter than with more expensive products. It is important to ensure that clothes are washed using the "hand wash" function and not put in the tumble dryer. In general, the care instructions must be followed, otherwise the products may be damaged.
    We accept no liability for allergic reactions to our products. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our customer service.

  4. Right of return

    wedress offers you a voluntary right of return. The return period is 15 (fifteen) days, from the time wedress hands over the goods to the CH-Post until the return is received, i.e. the time the CH-Post hands over the goods to wedress.

    There is no right of return for reduced, damaged, dirty or obviously worn products. The products may only be worn for fitting (as in a store) and the product must be returned to wedress complete and undamaged. When returning the item, the name and order number must be stated. The shipping costs for your return are at your expense. If the customer returns the package to us after the return period has expired, we will send the package back to you at your expense or reserve the right to keep the goods. In this case, the customer will not receive a refund.

    How to arrange your return and exchange:
  • Fill out the return slip that is included in the delivered package. If there is no return slip included with your package, please contact us via the contact form.
  • Please enter the returned products and the reason for return on the return slip.
  • Please provide your bank details (IBAN) if you have paid the invoice amount by bank transfer. Payments by credit card will be automatically refunded via the payment method you selected.
  • Confirm all information with date and signature.
  1. repayment

    As mentioned under 8., you must provide your bank details when returning the goods if you have paid the invoice amount by bank transfer. After receipt of the return, the refund is usually made within the next 5 (five) working days. If paying by credit card, the refund is made using the payment method chosen by the customer.

  2. Gift vouchers

    You can purchase gift vouchers. The vouchers can only be used to purchase items on wedress and not to purchase gift vouchers. If the balance on a gift voucher is not sufficient for the order, the difference can be made up using the payment options offered.
    Gift vouchers are neither paid out in cash nor do they accrue interest. The vouchers must be redeemed before completing the order process.

  3. guarantee

    If delivered products have obvious material or manufacturing defects, including transport damage, please report this immediately to us or to the CH.-Post employee who delivers the items.
    The buyer is obliged to inspect the products upon receipt and to immediately notify wedress of any defects in the products. If no such notification is made within the return period, the products are deemed to be in good condition, without defects or damage, and to be accepted in their respective condition.
    Further guarantees, unless required by law, are excluded.

  4. General terms and conditions of business

    The terms and conditions and contracts concluded under these terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich. We reserve the right to extend or change the terms and conditions at any time.
    The provisions of the Vienna Sales Convention (United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods), if applicable, are expressly excluded.
